Payment reassurance
We are 'UK Verified members of PayPal'.

A UK Verified member has added a bank account, completed Direct Debit and Validated their Account Information with PayPal. These verification procedures are secure and, in conjunction with their own authentication methods, allow PayPal to gain additional proof of a member's identity. This increases the security of the payment network for everyone.

Software reassurance
'Anobyte is a member of the Association of Shareware Professionals (ASP). ASP wants to make sure that the shareware principle works for you. If you are unable to resolve a shareware-related problem with an ASP member by contacting the member directly, ASP may be able to help. The ASP Ombudsman can help you resolve a dispute or technical problem with an ASP member, but does not provide technical support for members' products. As of 27th October 2004, all official Anobyte downloads are digitally signed for authenticity and your protection. If you see a valid Anobyte digital signature, you know the download is official and the code has not been tampered with.

If you have Windows XP SP2 or later, you will be presented with this information before you can run these files.

After downloading, you can, also, manually check the digital signatures by right clicking on the file, selecting 'Properties' then choosing the 'Digital Signatures' tab. You should see an "Anobyte" signature issued by "UTN-USERFirst-Object". If you do not see this, you are in possession of an unauthorized and tampered with file.

On running your download, if you see something like this dialog (possibly only on Windows XP SP2 or later) you know the file is genuine and has not been tampered with. Note the publisher and the shield icon.
